Art Therapy

We recently hosted an incredible event day, bringing together a group of strong women for a day filled with laughter, cake, and art therapy, all thanks to the generous support from the National Lottery and The Acorn Progression Project CIC. Set in the vibrant Chia and Crumb Café in Birmingham, the day consisted of two sessions; morning and afternoon support sessions that focused on empowering participants through creativity. Guided by talented facilitators, the women explored various art activities, expressing themselves and sharing their unique stories. The evening wrapped up with a heartfelt sharing circle, where everyone discussed their artwork and the emotions behind it, fostering a deep sense of community. To top it all off, we indulged in delicious cake, adding a sweet touch to the day’s experiences. A huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible—together, we’re creating spaces where women can uplift and empower one another. We can’t wait for more events like this in the future!
